AFKgg in partnership with NETGEAR (NASDAQ: NTGR), is proud to announce a massive CS:GO tournament on March 25th followed by a free concert with nerdcore legends Mega Ran & MC Lars! The prize pool features thousands of dollars in products from NETGEAR including NETGEAR Nighthawk X10 routers, NETGEAR Nighthawk S8000 gaming switches and a minimum of $1500 in cash payouts.

Tournament entry fee is $20 per player. Form your teams now and expect to see the fiercest competition coming out for this event!

Mega Ran & MC Lars represent two of the most widely celebrated heroes of nerdcore music. The touring duo have written countless songs about nostalgia, classic literature, nerd culture and video games. Don't miss their exciting live performance following the CS:GO tournament at 9pm.

 ------- General Tournament Rules ------

~ $20 Entry Fee per player. AFKgg Members get 50% off entry fee.
~ Entry fee is due on the day of the event during check-in.
~ Maximum of 16 Teams, or 80 players.
~ Priority will be given to the players and teams that pre-registered first.\
~ All tournament servers will be 128 tick servers hosted in San Francisco.
~ Start of tournament will be a Group Stage round robin format.
~ Quarter-finals will be best of 1 (*If needed).
~ Semi-finals and Finals are best of 3.
~ Players will be allowed setup time before the start of tournament to save configs to our PCs (NO USB ACCESS, see below).
~ USB Flash drives can't be plugged into our PCs. Please have your config files accessible via a cloud storage platform or email.
~ Players have a maximum of 5 minutes to configure their game prior to joining the lobby prior to each match. Teams will get forfeit losses.
~ Teams may have 1 substitute on their roster, that can sub in throughout the tournament.
~ Individuals may sign up alone or with a group of friends to be placed on a random team when possible.
~ On the day of, individuals who signed up may request to be placed on a team with another individual up until check-in ends.
~ NO Outside food or drink is allowed in the venue.

 ------- Peripherals & Gear Rules ------

~ Players may bring and use their own headphones throughout the tournament.
~ Players may bring their own mouse and keyboard, but can only use it during the knockout stage of the tournament (Quarters, Semis, and Finals).
~ AFKgg will provide twenty 144Hz Monitor setups, but not all matches will be played on these setups.
~ The rest of the setups will be 60Hz Monitors, due to limited availability and time constraints.
~ Teams playing on 144Hz Monitors will always be playing against another team also on 144Hz monitors, and same with 60Hz.
~ NO USB Flash Drives for configs, use a cloud storage platform or email.

 ------- Map Rules ------

~ Map pool is Valve's Activy Duty Map Group with Dust2 (Dust2, Inferno, Cobblestone, Cache, Overpass, Mirage, Nuke, Train)
~ Maps will be banned until there is only 1 left. In the case of best of 3, the last 3 maps will be played in reverse ban order.
~ First team to ban will be decided by coin toss.
~ Picking sides in games will be decided by a knife round.
~ Ties on any maps will be settled by Overtime.

 ------- Match Rules ------

~ Standard Valve Competitive Match Rules and Configs (Unless otherwise stated)
~ 30 Round Match with Halftime, First to 16 Rounds
~ 1:55 Round Timer
~ 0:40 Bomb Timer
~  Overtime Rules: 
    ~ 6 Round OT, 3 Rounds per half.
    ~ 10,000 Starting Money
    ~ OT Rounds will repeat until there is a winner.
~ Pauses for technicall issues will be allowed
